Hey y'all, I am in the process of replacing the dash to engine harness in my 41 DeSoto and was wondering if anyone had a good source for 6 volt instrument panel light bulbs? Thought that I might go ahead replace all bulbs while the harness is out. Thinking maybe the radio and clock bulbs are also the same?
Found one vendor on eBay but not sure about what he is selling.. comes in a group of fuses and bulbs.
Any leads greatly appreciated!

Just go to your NAPA or local parts store, Dean.
It's supposed to be fun!

Tim is correct. The "Mazda" bulb numbering system developed by General Electric to identify car light bulbs is still in use today, meaning the bulb numbers in your owners manual are still what you want to order by. Most Auto parts stores either stock or can order these parts, even most of the common 6-volt bulbs. You can also order them online from Rock Auto or others.
That said, there are a few bulbs that have been discontinued and might require dumpster diving through websites or swap meets to find.
