Requesting Your Build Card From Chrysler (Stellantis) Historical
What is a build card and why is it important?
The build cards (essentially a punch card used by the assembly line) are not only good documentation to have with your car, but they also provide information generally not found anywhere else, such as the actual motor number (sometimes this is found on your owner’s certificate in the owner’s manual if you are lucky to still have the original one for the car), build vs ship date, additional option codes, original selling dealer, etc. In short, there is information to be gained that is not available anywhere else.
How do I request a build card?
From Stellantis Historical, December 2021:
At this time, we would like to thank you for being patient with us while we work through our backlog of requests with a limited staff and partial office hours.
To order a build record, please provide us with the information on our order form (see link below). A copy of the title, registration, or notarized bill of sale is suitable. There are no exceptions to this policy. All orders will be answered in the order they were received and sent in the first quarter of 2022. A high resolution PDF copy of the build record will be emailed to you to help speed up the process.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We look forward to assist you with requests.
