Picked up the car today and drove it over 100 miles coming home. It is truly a nice 74 year old car. I am located in western Minnesota.

We were followed by a newer pickup complete with chains and a tow strap and we had cell phones and another pickup with a car hauler lined up.

My son and I spent a bit of time with an ignition system tuneup. Tomorrow is a chassis lube then, when I get oil and filter, an engine and transmission oil change.

@dennisulrich hopefully it'll be all good for many more miles! This is also a good time to check rubber parts, such as fuel, brake, and coolant hoses that often age without notice since they're not a routine maintenance item.
Belts and all rubber parts look as new. I suspect that the car was serviced before it went into storage a couple of years ago.
