There is a coil bracket pictured on Andy Burnbaum's Electrical Page (oldmoparts.com)
but there is no part/stock number or price listed. Does anyone have a source for this bracket??
If Andy Bernbaum shows it, you may want to call and see if it is available and just not available on the website. I'm not an expert on this era DeSoto, so hopefully someone else can chime in with other sources.
Hi Sam....can you post a photo or scan of the image of the bracket? I search eBaY quite often and have a seen a few on there over the years.

Problem Solved !! I found it on eBay (seller = oldbuickparts) (see image attached).
I don't know why this was so hard to find (identify, actually). The "sketch" on Andy Bernbaum's website looks nothing like it, which most likely added to my confusion.
Now that I have found one, I know what it actually looks like. I was able to find it on the Rock Auto site. They call it "ignition coil mounting bracket". ((Rock Auto part# WVE 4C1008 @ $3.08 , but pictured there, without the necessary "squeezer" nut and bolt which I imagine they supply, but maybe not).
