I'm in the process of repainting my 47 Suburban and would like a good picture of the way the paint break is between the two colors where they meet on the cowl. Does anyone out there have access to an original Suburban???

Tim, I quicky grabbed the 2010 roster issue for the club, and see there are 4 names listed with '47 Suburbans. Have you joined the club? There are so many more people in the club that don't participate on the forum, and with the roster you could contact them and hopefully get some help.

Thanks for the info guys. I have not rejoined the club yet, it's on my to do list. I'll check out the roster when I get one. What I really need is a close up of the base of the windshield. My car has already had a repaint and I'm not sure if they painted it correctly.

found a photo on flicker that might help you out.
The color contrast is very apparent on this car, and so maybe you can clearly see how the paint was divided.

That car was at the Bent Harbour, Michiacan location
of the National De Soto's Convention two years ago.
I drove there from here in Colo Spgs ( in my vehicle
which is parked near-by ). Another member drove
his 2 dr 1939 Sedan from here to there also.
This is another reason to go to the Nat'l Conventions
because you get to see it all.
This year it is in Reno starting on the 27th of July.
