'55 DeSoto heater core
anyone have a good heater core for this. it's about 2 1/2 by 8 by 10 and leaking.
A good radiator shop can re-core that one
I have a spare, condition unknown other than it has a shiny coat of black paint. If you decide not to have yours repaired, PM me with your e-mail address and we'll work out the details.
Had a local shop redo mine, they did a great job. My only issue is the valve for the heater control, need to replace the "O" ring as its old and dried/shrunk up.
thanks everybody and expecially Mark. dave

@markkubancik I'm interested in your '55 DeSoto heater core. My phone number is 703-933-7000.
Thanks, Richard Otto
@richardotto Richard...check the date on that post offering a heater core. It's from 2012! That heater core is long gone. If you have a core that is leaking suggest what others have said and take it to a good radiator shop. They should be able to repair yours.
Yes, that's my idea also but it seems nowadays there are hardly any radiator repair shops around–––at least in this area of northern Va. I'll find one somewhere.
It's a changing country, I lament.
Gracias, Richard Otto
