Tim,
Attached photo of a nice '51 convertible is from the 2012 NDC Convention. This car won best in its class and was restored by the owner. The owner is Jerry Jenkins of Raymore, MO. You can find his contact info in the NDC roster issue. He's a very nice guy and I'm sure he would not mind sharing his experiences with you.
Good luck with your project!

Rodger & Gabby,
Thanks for the response. I'm looking for the chrome rock guard for the right rear fender. Part #1367702 9024rh. Also I need the reflector that is above the decklid release handle and taillight lenses. I plan to do a body off restoration as the floor pan will need most of the work. Very little rust thru on any of the rest of the body. I will need to have the engine and transmission rebuilt. I know this project will be expensive, but my uncle gave me the car. I hope to get it back together so he can once drive it. He is 78 years old as of Christmas Eve.
Thanks again for your help,
Tim

Thanks for the picture. I will contact Jerry about his car

Welcome, Tim!
Best of luck with your restoration!
Post some photos of your rare '29 when you can!
Oops, thought it was a DeSoto...I missed the "Model A" reference.
BUT...your '29 Ford is awesome! I love the dimensions of those old cars.
Thank you for the photos!
