This car is a favorite at the Orphan show every year. At the Orphan show the owners get to drive their cars by a reviewing stand. The reviewers always remark about this car as one of their favorites. Here is a front quarter view. It doesn't quite have the same look though without Bobbie behind the wheel with her sunglasses and straw sun hat with the ribbons blowing in the breeze......

Here is an engine shot of Bobbie's car- notice the heater control valve for the high-end "Comfort master" heater. If you happen to get a chance to talk to Joe or Bobbie Youngblood at the next show, ask them about how they found this car. Only one of several interesting DeSoto stories they have to tell.

Hi Bobby. What a great car you have. And what a great dashboard. I have a 1949 convertible, but with a simple dashboard. Do you know if you could order one from the factory with a more luxurious dashboard? Yours looks really fabulous. My compliments and wish you very many happy and save miles
with kind regards
Jan
