Mine DeSoto 1949 convertible has a fluid drive transmission. I only use 3rd and 4th gear as I am being told that that is the best.
Sometimes when the transmission goes from 3rd to 4th gear it makes a sort of loud bang. This is once every plm 100 times.
This scares me of a little bit.
Has anybody some experience with this issue?

I hope to hear from you

with kind regards
Jan Hermans
