Hello everyone. In search of a decent horn ring for my '59 Firedome. Please advise if you can help, and especially if you're coming to the Chatham convention! Thank you in advance ????
Did you try Big M in Williams, California? John Fowlie has some '59 DeSotos there. His family recently had a fire which consumed their home, so he may be a bit preoccupied at present. John is a good guy and will give you a fair price if he has a good horn ring
Forgot to mention some 1960 DeSoto vehicles used leftover 1959 horn rings when the 1960 horn rings were out of stock on production day. I've not seen '57 and '58 horn rings recently and I don't remember if the eagle emblem is the same and if the horn bar was welded on to the frame in a flat or angle position. I remember similar years for Chrysler had the horn bar welded on the frame at an angle.
