I have a 51 that I cannot get to start. Ran last year. No power anywhere. New battery. I did try and jump it so I maybe fried something. What are the 2 components on the firewall to the right of the regulator and could these be a culprit?

I'll be the first to admit that I am not very knowledgeable with electrical problems, especially 6 volt, but my first thought would be to see what the factory shop/service manual troubleshooting part of the electrical section shows. When you say "no power anywhere", does that include lights, gauges, etc. - literally everything? If so, that seems like it would be a battery or battery connection/cable problem. If it's just not starting, that could extend to other culprits, such as the starter, starter relay, ignition switch, etc.

@briancooley it sounds like you have isolated the problem at least!
