Looking for a working master power window switch (controls all 4 windows) for the driver's door of my '56 Fireflite convertible. Would the switch from a '55 DeSoto (or '55 0r'56 Chrysler) work as well?

@SteveMortensen the '55 switch can be used, but you will have to slightly modify it. The fronts are identical, but the back has a copper band down the middle between the terminals. I believe the '55 is split and you have to bridge the gap (connecting the two sides) to make it work with the '56. I may have that backwards, but I believe that's the case. The Chrysler and Imperial switches should be identical to the DeSoto for both years, respectively.
Additionally, I think this guy may have one available for a reasonable price - give him a call!
