We celebrated the wedding of our oldest son this past weekend, and Bruce Blackwell, the owner of the '56 Adventurer we restored, was kind enough to allow us to use his car in the wedding.

It's supposed to be fun!

I'll add my congrats, too!

I have a son who married a few years ago and used my DeSotos in the wedding, too. I thought of trying to write an Adventures article of using 1957 DeSotos in weddings, but didn't get enough responses.

Congrats!

My son wants to use my 1960 Fireflite in his wedding in August. I need to get the radiator fixed before that time. I cannot find a replacement radiator and will probably have to go with a new core.

I have attached a photo of my Fireflite.

Congratulations Tim and all,

What a great way to ride in a wedding - "It's delightful, it's delovely, it's DeSoto"

A few years ago, a local club member asked to borrow my car for a friends daughter's wedding. His '55 Imperial had a leaking water pump and he was desperate for somebody with a vintage car to take his place. I already had plans for the evening but offered him my car. Since he already had a nice Imperial I figured he would know how to drive and handle the DeSoto. A few photos taken by the professional wedding photographer are attached from that day in May.

My 1960 Fireflite made it to my son's wedding. They used it as the "get away" car at the church.
