I am noticing vibrations on my 1949 S11 when letting off the gas. Seems to be worse the faster I am going. It is not an unbalanced tire vibration. could it be universal joints?

I'm not particularly mechanically talented but based on prior DeSoto experience, your problem sure sounds like U-joints to me. Others who visit this board with more mechanical knowledge will surely weigh in with additional advice.
