We'll be buying "Jeanette" - 1955 Fireflite - new shoes before Spring. We want a nice wide white wall. We're interested in your suggestions and recommendations.

Hi Jack -
Do you own that yellowish 55 Fireflite ?
Ron
Yes, we do!
Jack,
I hope you are considering radial WWW tires. On my '55s from the past, after switching to the radials, I don't think I would ever go back to a bias ply tire.
Either way, a couple of companies come to mind...
Coker Tire, but there have been mixed reviews on their radial WWW tires over the years but I did own some that were fine.
Diamond Back Tires, located in South Carolina.. have not heard anything bad about their products.
I am sure there are others, but these I have either used or know people that have used them.
See you in about 6 weeks!

It's Delightful, It's DeLovely, It's DeSoto!
Thanks, Dean! Congrats on the new "baby"!
We are considering Diamond Backs and American Classics.
See you soon!
I have American Classics on two of my cars. Very happy with them.
Ron
Thanks Ron! Those American Classics are good looking. Glad to hear you're happy with them.
