Found on Craigslist is this super nice '55 Fireflite sedan in spring special colors showing only 41,000 miles. It looks to be in great shape and sports original style wire wheels and dual exhaust. Check out the fabulous interior in the spring special colors and the beautiful steering wheel. If I did not already own a nice '55 I might already be on the road to Illinois to check out this beauty!

If this was a spring special, wouldn't it be in the same color scheme as Dean's ? AFAIK, spring specials were only in Light Taffy and Copper Rose. This one looks white to me.

Ron,
If I'm not mistaken, you could mix and match the spring colors with some basic existing colors like surf white and black. I've seen this spring interior with one of the special colors and black. I've got a copy of the spring color bulletin somewhere. I'll look for it and if I find it I will attempt to upload a copy.

On the back of the PPG paint chips card, it indicates paint code 440 for Light Taffy and Copper Rose. I don't see any additional paint codes for combinations including either of these two colors.
It would be interesting if you could find your spring special documentation.
