I just received my Adventures Mag. and was looking at the cars from the 2012 Show. I could not help but notice that on page 15 all 3 Firesweep models were labeled as Firedome's.
Hmmm, How does one get in line for that publication??

One joins the Club, rather than just visiting the website and Message Board. Only a handful of member's visit this message board. Click the link to the left hand side that says "RENEW-JOIN THE CLUB". Looking forward to having you as an official member and seeing you down the road at a future convention!

Ron,
You are correct; I screwed that up. It must have happened on one of the many nights I was up past midnight.
I also made at least one mistake on the 2013 calendar. I have Thanksgiving mistakenly listed one week early.
I worked very hard to get both of those correct and out to the publisher on time. Well over 200 hours was spent on them. It blows my mind though, that, although I received two emails congratulating me on the work, that this forum is oh so quick to point out mistakes. Go figger...
Dan, you are right. Quite often we take things for granted when it is going well and neglect to appreciate or recognize a job well done. IMHO this issue and the calendar are excellant. I liked the way the many pictures told the story of the convention.
Glad to see you mention the amount of work and the hours involved in doing this volunteer job that pays nothing but the appreciation of fellow NDC members. I don't think most of us knew how much time is involved. So, to you and Goef we give you a "doff of the Great Lakes Chapter hat" and keep up the good work. Les
Ouch
It's OK, Rick. Mark has that little smiley face tagged on there at the end....
It's supposed to be fun!

Awesome job, on BOTH the calendar and the magazine. I for one appreciate all the hard work done to get us this magazine and ON TIME!!!!
Keep up the good work Dan!
Chris
On facebook, I could "like" Chris's and Les's comments, and then you would know that I agreed with them.
Oh, and maybe to be a stinker, I would like Mark's little dig, too!

The magazine looks very nice. I have not delved into it yet so I do not know about the substance but so far it seems very well done. THANK YOu DAN for all the hard work. For all of the members including me, we need to provide good articles for the editors otherwise they have to spend a lot of extra time conjuring up something to put in the magazine - at least that is what I think can happen. I am guilty of not sending enough. I think the whole roster should be tweaked. The obviously easy ones have listed their email addresses. Why don't we try to get all of those involved more so?
A few weeks ago i received the taxi special i think may- june number
I often receive the numbers somewhat later
was there also a july-augustus number ??
is there still a posibility to receive these ?
Perhaps together with the latest one
Thanks in advance

I'd also "potentially" thank you, Dan, but my issue hasn't arrived yet! I'm sure when it does, I'll be grateful for all your work!
We recently received our latest DeSoto Adventures Magazine and NDC Calendar, and thought that they both looked very nicely done, indeed. Thank you for all of your hard work, Dan!
I'm one of the mislabeled Firesweep owners (the car, not me
Hope to talk with you again, Dan, at the next NDC Convention!
We too just wanted to say 'nice job' on the newsletter and calendar. Your hard work IS appreciated. -Bruce and Kim
