Hola All
I just spent a few minutes looking at the S11's in The Photo Gallery. It appears
as if very few have the completly smoove finish units sold by MoPar. The ones
that I could see are The After Market design with ripples.
Are there more, or better photos to look at with this Dealer Purchased
Accessory ?

I may have a set of steel ones in my parts stuff...They are rough. I thought about using them on the '47 Subruban but they son't seem to fit well. Perhaps the other cars has a slight different shape.
I can pull them out and take a photo to see if they are what you are talking about.

I have a set of the ones which are complety smoothe. Maybe another
who stops by this site will want to have yours on their S11 type of
De Soto.
It appears that starting with "the 1949" car design these all are part of
what one got besides the door handles on The De Soto's.
In looking at photos of De Soto's there are only a few of them, but when
looking at the same 1946 - 1948 Chrysler's they all seem to have this added
feature ( kind of a reverse manner of what you find on S11 De Soto's ).
To sell yours, what would want ???

Roger,
They are rough. If anyone in the club needs them...they can have them as I got them so long ago I have no idea what I paid. Someone can owe me a favor...
James
Roger,
They look the same from memory. I will pull them in the next few days and take a photo. They are not plated and they are rough.
