rear diff leaks.resealed and copper washered.looks like it might be coming from front of diff where drive shaft enters.any help?

Sounds like the rear pinon seal, Mine leaks too.

Agree with Paul. Mine leaked there until the pinion seal was replaced. MoPar used the same basic seal for many years and you should still be able to get a new, fresh stock seal from NAPA or other auto part suppliers.

There's a good chance that the pinion will have a groove worn into the shaft at the area where the seal made contact. When you order the new deal, also order a "speedi-sleeve"

Yes, that is exactly what I had on my '32. Coated the entire underbody from there back, preventing rust. Now that it doesn't leak its cleaned up and painted w POR 15 down there. The speedy-sleeve did the trick.

I also just had the pinion seal replaced on my '57 - didn't have any trouble finding the replacement once the NCD Tech advisor told me where to look. :mrgreen:
