I'm trying to find out what the seats should look like for a 1956 Fireflite. Would love to see any seats but especially code 557 seats.
Am going to get mine redone but need to see what the patterns look like on the seats and door panels.

Although artist's illustrations from brochures can be significantly different from real life, the following illustrations may help.

This page in particular shows Fireflite interiors. Comparing the green 4-door interior illustration to your car suggests the horizontal patterns on the seats look correct as to the door panels.

Thanks for the info Mark. I'm starting to think the horizontal lines are correct too.
Jim was kind enough to send me these pictures from a 557 code car. Of course the fabrics look different than what SMS shows should be correct fabric. Seems like my best bet is to believe what Jim's pictures indicate.
