Recently acquired a nice job in Lagrange, GA. The pay isn't amazing but I can certainly afford a nice #3 or 2 Desoto. I'm looking for a '49. So far, I can't find anything in the large online websites that's even remotely close to Lagrange and something about paying 1/5 of the car's value in shipping fees doesn't sit right with me (not to mention not being able to see it in person before buying).
This is just call out there to see if anyone has any leads or can recommend some good websites to watch.

I'd seen that one, Mark! Seemed a bit far for me to drive to have a look. Transportation quote was about $2000 (not covered), dtd. I suppose I could fly and have a look. I also found an ad on Craigslist (onecraigs.com, it searches ALL Craig's List websites so you can do a national search instead of local only; very useful) in Huntsville which is only about 3-4 hours away. Will drive out there after I get settled in.
I know they're out there but I'm guessing most are listed in local papers or dealers. It will just take time and patience on my part and that's ok.
