A fellow member passed along the following lead. I called the seller and got the following information:
Seller once owned a '55 DeSoto which he recently sold. It had decent wheel covers but he bought a set years ago that he describes as NOS or very early take-offs. The caps have no scuffs, dings or curb rash. Gold lettering shines as when new. He has a set of four covers and wants $200.00 for the set plus shipping. Seller is not technologically oriented and thus cannot provide electronic images. I spoke with him for five minutes and he sounds sincere, for what that is worth.
Seller's name is Jim Stahley; phone (732) 251-1493; he's located in East Brunswick, NJ.
If anyone buys these caps, please let the rest of us know the condition.
