Any body have a current part # on a replacement 6 volt starter solenoid for a '55? Or a known working used one that could be bought?

Thanks

It's supposed to be fun!

Tim,

The Autolite replacement p/n for the solenoid is SSX4004. Googling that number I found this link:

http://www.urqualitysolutions.com/New-S ... 7-1190.htm

If that does not pan out, I think I have an extra solenoid rebuild kit if you want to go that route. I'll trade it to you for my distributor! :P

Mark
