Interesting short interview with Jay Leno in which he talks about how he reacts when kids show interest in his cars at a show. Excellent food for thought.
I really liked how Joe and Bobbi Youngblood made the effort to make the 2015 convention very kid friendly. The tour to Binder Park Zoo, the coloring contest and involving the kids in the Hagerty Youth Judging program made this the most youth oriented convention I can remember. I also want to recognize Dona Frank for taking charge of the youth judging at the show and working with the kids as they made their choices. I hope this sets a precedent that future convention hosts will build on to keep the kids involved.
I agree, Les!
It's supposed to be fun!

Thanks for the link.
Totally agree without the kids the hobby has no future.
I love bringing my JR car to shows, when the kids come up and know how to respect the older cars, I love to invite them to sit in it so their parents can take a photo.
