Well, besides winter, I was referring to the magazine and 2016 calendar...
Winter? I thought you lived in Florida where winter is just something you read about.....
It's supposed to be fun!

Oh, it gets cold here... damp air makes it feel A LOT colder than the thermometer reads...
Dan, I have heard it gets so cold down there in Florida sometimes you have to put on a sweater.
Lookie here Mister Michigan, it's all relative. I seem to vaguely (note sarcasm) recall folks complaining about how hot it was at the convention. Sweltering heat at 85? I didn't even break a sweat...
Can you post a PDF of the latest issue ? Would be nice to download and read it on my laptop.
Ron
You are right Dan, it is all relative. We went down to Daytona Beach several years ago in January and the temperature got down to the low thirties one night
Received the Sept - Oct issue today. I tried to click on all those tiny, tiny pictures to make them large enough to see. But I was unsuccessful. What am I doing wrong ?

Dan: Excellent work on the calendar
The background for the pictures complimented the photographs of the DeSotos, many of which we have not previously known
The front cover is one of my favorite views of the 56
Got the Adventures and calendar yesterday and it is another great piece of work from Dan and Geoff. Thanks guys for the job you are doing with the magazine and calendar and want you to know it is appreciated.
I echo those comments. Magazine and calendar are great as usual. And I like the inclusion of more photos of the activities at the convention!

Thanks for the nice comments.
Ron, the issue of posting the magazine online was discussed by the Board at the convention and the vote was to not post it online.
I misspoke, the issue of putting the magazine online was put on hold.
Dan -
This was my somewhat humorous way of pointing out that the photos are too small in many cases. If you look at page 11, there are 16 photos on that page. They are so small that I can barely figure out what's going on in the pictures. Now, my eyesight is still pretty good. But when you consider that the club has a lot of older members with not-so-good eyesight, they are probably really struggling with this issue.
So my suggestion would be to run larger photos, or, as you mention, put the magazine online as a PDF so folks could enlarge the images if they choose. NOTE: I'm not saying do away with the magazine in printed form. I'm saying make both options available.
Ron
Dan,
Great job on the calendar and magazine! Also, congratulations on winning the Hernando DeSoto award. As a former winner myself, the decision to select you as the award winner was no doubt a very easy one considering all you do for Club. Again, congratulations!
