I am in desperate need of a sway bar and bushings for a 1951 Desoto Custom. Anyone have anything used or know where to get a new one? Thanks!
Not sure if it will fit 51, but here is one listed for 46-48 on eBay:

I've also bought reproduction outer sway bar bushings from this seller:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170645956462 - I actually bought several items from this seller - all are of very good quality, and despite the fact that he's located in Turkey - shipping was reasonable fast, less than 2 weeks I believe. I've seen him listing these bushings several times - you can ask him - he might have some more.

If you have the original part number you can search partsvoice.com
you can also try Andy Bernbaum or Roberts Motor parts. They are both in Mass.
Valley Vintage Auto Parts in Ohio may have it as well. www.vvap.com

The sway bar part number for 49-54 DeSotos is 1137501. The 40-48's have different part numbers. This number is not found on partsvoice. The bushing number is 681912. These are available by searching on partsvoice.
