Just outside of Philly we had high winds and some good rain. our power is out and has been since 4pm on Monday.
No damage for us thankfully.
Hundreds of miles to the west, Louisville, KY, has had gusty winds for two days and on and off rain today compliments of Sandy. So, is Sandy named for a man or a woman???
Best of luck and prayers to those with more significant impact from the storm and its aftermath.
Mark
Mark,
Hurricane Sandy is named after a woman.

Western PA had lots of rain, significant winds but not horrific. Some downed trees and miscellaneous flooding, but really, nothing to complain too much about. Poor folks hit the hardest need all the help we can give them, though.
I bought a '52 Firedome "barn find" from a guy in Wetherfield, CT....my shipping company sent me an email saying they are canceling my shipment due to Sandy...Now I have to start all over!!!!
I need to get it from there to Argonia, KS as the previous owner wants it gone....
