Unregistered users may browse the website, but in order to participate in the forums and view select pages (such as "Club Contacts" and "Classified Ads") a user account is required. Click HERE to email the webmaster and request a free account. The National DeSoto Club uses real names rather than pseudonyms. Notify the webmaster of your user name preference (Johnathon Doe vs. John Doe, etc.), preferred email address, and password request.
Just a heads up that the Charlotte Auto Fair is coming up September 21-24, with the car club displays on the 23rd and 24th! The Carolina Chapter is always at this event and invites you to attend if you can! This year is a little bit special as the Speedway has asked us to put together a special presentation of 5 DeSotos inside one of their themed exhibit buildings. We will also have quite a few cars on display outside of the building as well. If lucky, we could get an attendance of 14 -15 cars! That would be the most we have ever had on display at Charlotte, with our previous high number being 11 cars. Come on and drop by and sit a spell... enjoy the cars and the people.

I won't be making it down to Charlotte this year - so what else is new? Some year perhaps. But a friend of mine, Jon Kocara, does plan to be there in one of the vendor spots. I told him to say hi to you guys if he sees you.
Regardless I hope all of you have a good time, and be sure to write up an article for the club's magazine about the De Sotos at Charlotte!
