As you may have heard already, the town of De Soto, Iowa, will be celebrating their 150th anniversary on 23 June of this year. They plan to have a parade and car show with food, dancing and fireworks. They also plan to hold the 60th reunion for their class of 1958. So they really, really, would like to have one or more 1958 De Sotos there for this event. (Unfortunately my ’58 wagon isn’t going to make it there.) If you think that you and your 1958 De Soto could be there, please contact either Terri Golightly at steveterri2005@msn.com or Kelli Olson at kholsonko@gmail.com or Carol at leebobcarol@aol.com to let them know. I’m sure that they would be thrilled. De Soto, Iowa, is about 20 miles west of Des Moines off of I-80.
