If you are an A.A.C.A. member you have likely already seen the great article about Bruce Blackwell's '56 Adventurer in the January/February edition of Antique Automobile, the A.A.C.A. bi-monthly member publication. Bruce wrote the article himself - and a fine job he did I might add - and pays Tim Bowers and his restoration shop some very high compliments. Nice work Bruce and Tim waving the DeSoto flag!

Article hopefully attached.

It's a gorgeous car to see in person; something to which many of us who have attended the NDC Convention(s) can attest.

Beautiful restoration by the very talented Mr. Tim Bowers!

Tim's shop handcrafts these fine cars and makes them better than new so that they can be enjoyed by generations to come. He has done other '56es and is finishing up a nice '55. Hat's off to the Blackwell's for choosing the path they did.

Thanks for all the kind words!

"It's a car wearing a tuxedo and carrying a gold cigarette case"

I love that line! A perfect description of a '56 Adventurer......

It's supposed to be fun!

I have seen this one and others that Tim has done. No doubt about it he must enjoy what he does because it shows in the quality of his work..
