I am planning to upgrade my brakes and am looking for a dual master cylinder can you get these for the 1951 Custom IL6.

Are you upgrading to disc brakes also? If so, I would contact AAJ brakes to see what master cylinder they recommend for the earlier year cars with the master cylinder below the floor.
I have no personal experience with conversions, but I second Regis' suggestion. AAJ is one of the go-to companies. Scarebird is the only other one I know of that supplies kits for DeSotos.
