Wow! Great video, really cool race! I basically consider myself as a "younger" (not 40 yet!) person now interested in vintage cars. This very nice black DeSoto looks very similar to mine, I know this is going to be a dumb question but what is the difference between the fireflite and the firedome? I was assuming my vehicle is a 55 firedome, but it looks just like this one that says its a fireflite?
Thanks,
Jay
Hello Jay,
The attached (hopefully) salesman training piece from '55 answers the "what's the difference" question between Firedome and Fireflite.
Mark
The brochure mentions a rear cigar lighter standard on Fireflite. Hmmm...never seen one of those.
Ron
Ron,
The rear lighter is inside the pull out ashtray on the four door. It's wired into the harness.
