Was the "sticky" post I created about uploading attachements not helpful at all? I was hoping to alleviate the frustration that people were experiencing regarding that very thing...
It's supposed to be fun!
1949 De Soto Custom Convertible (project)
All, I have never seen this color of De Soto. So make sure you know what you are expecting. It could be a good color but I have never seen any De Sotos of this color. So go figure.
So is that yellow a color used by Desoto?
No Paul, that shade of yellow isn't on the color card for '56.

Hello guys,
I might be a little late with this response but I just became a member a few days ago and am going through some posts.
Dad was a DeSoto dealer and had a Yellow and White '56 Fireflite 4 door hardtop as a demo. It was definitely a factory color. The interior was black and white. The most memorable thing I remember about this car, it wasn't pleasant, the side windows leaked water inside the car bigtime when in a heavy rain or car wash. Kind of a nifty way the rear windows went up and down and it was obvious all '56 Chrysler built 4 door hardtops were converted 4 door sedans.
