One of my favorite old TV shows, even as a kid, was Highway Patrol with Broderick Crawford. All those old cars and "realistic" police talk were addictive as a young kid. All four seasons of Highway Patrol have been released on DVD and many of the episodes posted on YouTube. The last episode from season two has Dan Matthews (Crawford) desperately searching for a mother and little girl. The little girl had been bitten by a rabid dog and they only had limited time to locate her before certain death. Mom and daughter happen to be tooling around in a two-tone '56 Firedome wagon. Pay attention to the scene where the radio plays even with the off button depressed.
