Can I use a right hand drum on the left. The rear axle has been changed. Now the only wheel with left hand thread is the left front. I would like them to all be right hand.

You should be able to use the drums interchangeably left to right except for the threads obviously. My dad just did brake work on his '56 for the first time since he bought it and noticed the drums were on the wrong side all these years. He swapped them back now so they are on the correct sides.
