Did the 55 Coronado have dual cylinder power brakes straight out of the factory? Or is the dual system on mine a later custom modification?
And does anyone know if there are new (not NOS) complete wiring harnesses available? I thought my wiring was bad but still useable. The guys at National Mopars seem to think it is much worse. They actually disconnect the battery when they leave the car.

As for the wiring, you can purchase a reproduction wiring harness custom made for your car. Click the "Vendors" link to the left margin and scroll down for a link to Rhode Island Wiring. Another source is YNZ: http://www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com/
I replaced the wiring dash forward on my '55 several years ago with one of these replacement harnesses but frankly cannot remember from which of these two vendors I purchased. From what I know both do quality work and have a good reputation in the hobby.

Thanks Mark. I've passed this info on to the guys at NationalMoparts. Unless they can do me MUCH better this is probably going to be the last straw for me. There is no way I can come up with over $1000, + labour to install, plus, plus, plus for the rest of the parts and labour just to get it on the road
