Bummer, they won't ship!

"They won't ship"...
Apparently counting on the vast number of '51 DeSoto enthusiasts in Tyler, TX, to beat a path to his door.
I asked if they were willing to ship it to KS and they responded "no, that's why we didn't put it on ebay and command a higher price".
Maybe they're not all that motivated to get rid of it.

Hola Yo'll
I too called Tyler-Texas and got the same "I will not package it statement". He
told me that they have had it since College Days and all about why they are
"getting rid it".
When I said that I could for-go the rod he repeated himself two more times.

One of my former colleagues from McPherson College is from Tyler, so I emailed wondering if he was headed that way but haven't heard back from him.

Well, this turned out pretty cool.
I got a call Sunday from the seller and he offered to sell me the banner as they had no offers from their local Craigslist ad, and I happened to have been the 1st person to have contacted them and expressed interest.
The icing on the cake is that he has a colleague that has a son attending McPherson College, and they are coming up this week to see some basketball games, so I don't even have to pay shipping!
Sorry Rodger, but this banner is going to look great hanging in my office!

Tim,
Since I posted the ad on the message board, will that speed up delivery of my distributor?
Mark
yes! I missed responding to that question in a recent email, too. Sorry!
I'll get that boxed up this week, for sure.

So are we going to see this banner at our convention this July?
Bill
Good question, Bill! What do you say, Tim?
I'd be more than happy to bring it to the convention! Perhaps instead of hanging it in the office, I should immediately put it in Mr. Blackwell's Adventurer so it comes along. Otherwise, all bets are off.
