UGH! As part of the restoration of my 50 Custom, the garage lost a piece of molding. There are three pieces to the center split windshield. I need the bottom clip. Any ideas as to where I can get one?
Try Moores Auto Salvage in the Dakotas. They used to be a MoPar only junkyard so they have plenty of cars.

Which body style. They are different between the regular coupe, sedan and the hardtop/convertible. Ask me how I know.
James
It is a 50 custom 4 door.
Hi All,
I am striking out on this molding. Any other suggestions?
This is an old number but you might give it a try....

I think the 'ol man isn't involved much, and the last time I had any dealings with them, I contacted the son.

I personally know that there used to be a couple of rather complete '50 Sedans in the yard. Couldn't say for sure whether they were Custom or Deluxe, however.
It's supposed to be fun!

Tim,
Try this person. He has a yard full of old cars and I believe one of them is a '50 two door sedan. Owner has a full-time job and the cars are a sideline. Our AACA chapter has visited his location twice. Very hospitable, reliable and reasonably priced.

Thanks for the leads. Will start calling today.
Btw.... Tim, I discovered part way through the restoration that the "kid" working on my car is one of your former students. You did well with him!
Cool! Who is it?

Steve Ast. Super guy and truly passionate about his work. I am very happy that he was involved with my restore.
