My front brakes were locking up. I pulled the wheel cylinders off today. They were all corroded and rusty inside. Any ideas where I can find some in the next couple of days?

It's been a while since I've serviced mine on my '42 Custom but I do remember either the front or the rears being difficult to find. Rebuild kits are somewhat easier. I can tell you though that I got tired of fighting with leaky cylinders and sent all four out for s/s sleeving. It has been 8 years and I've never touched them since. It was a good in investment.

Dan,

Sounds like you want to make the convention. Under the circumstances you might have to pay dearly. Kanter shows these items available and you can probably request next day shipping, again more $. Here is a link:

Good luck and hope to see you and the '42 in Ft. Wayne.

Mark
