I have started collecting and documenting 1941 DeSotos through a database I am working on. I have contacted most of the current members in the club and I have a few more to go, but if any of you know of a '41 DeSoto NOT in the club or that is a parts car/junk car please let me know about the car.
Information that I am seeing includes:
VIN#
ALL data plate information
Engine #
Running boards or not
Custom or DeLuxe
Body type
Briggs body number if available from firewall
Simplimatic Transmission or 3 spd
Original Interior color
Owner's name and contact info if available
Pics of any of these things are appreciated but not mandatory.
