I asked to NAPA but they do not have....... Please I submit again my request to all members in the club: I am searching for an engine oil dipstick for my 1956 Fireflite Sportsman or an equivalent........ I tried on EBay, but nothing............
Many thanks for your collaboration.
Alfonso
The dipstick was the same for all 55 and 56 DeSotos as well as the 57 Firedomes, Fireflites and Adventurers. Maybe this will widen your search for one.

Alfonso, try one of the Vendors on this website - off to your left. Parts Voice is a good choice but you will need a part no. I do not have the parts book otherwise I would look it up for you. Also, the AZ salvage yards listed are a good possible source. The only thing with the AZ ones, is the rubber at the top could be "toasted" from the heat and/or sun. So ask about its condition. Good luck.
I've been having a tough time helping someone with a '57 find a dipstick, too. One source made a good suggestion, though. He said to drain and change the oil, so you KNOW it's full to the proper level. Then use any long dipstick from a local auto parts store, and cut and mark it at the proper oil level once you insert it to know where that level is. It won't be authentic and correct, but will certainly be functional.
