looking to get brake shoes for my 1948 desoto deluxe (= any one here guide me in right direction Thank you so much (=
also do i have to replace shoes or is it possible to just repair lining that is all that is worn thank you !
Jason, Andy Bernbaum has shoes and linings. Linings are much cheaper if you can put them or or can find someone to do it. The ph# is 617-244-1118. They are in Mass.. Les
thank you all for your help how do you install the lining been looking on line with no help thank you so much everybody . i am so happy with this club no words to explain how much it has helped me. so thank you all again (=
I would invest in an owners manual if I were you. They are on ebay all the time. I also send people with old Mopar questions to the Imperial Club website. They offer a ton of good info. Go to the "Repair" section then "Brakes". These brakes are simple but different. The way you adjust them is critical so read up on that. They call for a special tool to measure clearance but with a bit of trial and error it can be done without it. Also, do one side at a time so you have something to compare.
