I need a restorable right rear (or left front) outside door handle with escutcheon for my 1936 Airflow S2. The pot metal is damaged and the square shaft is broken off in mine. Anybody know where to get one? Thanks!

John,

Have you reached out to the '35 or '36 Tech Advisors? Click the "Resources" tab at the left and scroll down for details. Chuck Cochran would be another person to contact. Chuck is an NDC Board member and very well known in Airflow circles. I could not find his contact info on the website but if you have a copy of the Club magazine you will find Chuck's contact info.

Good luck with your search.

Mark

I also own a '36 S-2 but I have no spare door handles. The Airflow Club will connect you with folks that do have spares. I needed a good cylinder head, a rare item because it is unique to the '36 Airflow, and found it quickly from other Airflow club members. I'm aware of several guys with S-2 parts cars.

Good Luck

Dear Sellers and Restorers,

I am looking for an original cylinder head for a 1936 DeSoto Airflow S2. I am only interested in an authentic part, not reproductions or substitutes.

If you have this part available or know of a reliable source, please contact me. I am willing to discuss pricing and shipping arrangements.

Thank you in advance for your assistance! I look forward to your offers.
