Bill...I view a lot of Craigslist ads using a search engine that views ads from across the country. I search for DeSoto, 1950's Chryslers, etc. From what I have seen Craigslist requires a price be listed for any item for sale. Many items are often listed for $1.00 when the real sale price is much higher or in the "make offer" category. Judging by the complete nature of the this particular '55 hardtop, I would guess that $10.00 was simply a figure listed to get the ad placed and generate inquiries. Remember too, that CL ads are notorious for scammers, so buyer beware!
