I am looking for the bracket that attached under the dash that the brake handle attaches to. I am restoring a 1947 S11 and this bracket is not anywhere to be found.
Thanks

If nobody chimes in with a better suggestion, you can also submit a free "Parts Wanted" ad for the magazine. That won't be as quick, but it's free and reaches the entire membership. With the recent ad deadline of March 22nd for the upcoming May-June issue, you might also plea with the ad editor to see if there's still time to get it into the May-June issue.
According to the 46 (and earlier) -54 MoPar parts book, the dash mounting bracket was part of the Hand Brake Lever Assembly and the bracket was not sold as a separate item. That said, the same hand brake lever assembly - p/n 953392 - was used in all '41-'48 MoPar brands and models. So, you can expand your search to any period MoPar product and contact MoPar NOS parts vendors and search for that part number.
You can also post a part wanted message on the NDC Facebook page. It gets a lot of visibility and I would not be surprised if you find someone that has the bracket you need. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1560572637511564/?sorting_setting=RECENT_ACTIVITY
Good luck!
Thanks for that input. I will see what I can find
