Not a bad look unit.
"It's delightful, it's delovely, it's DeSoto"
Hi Fred, I have had a couple of emails with the dealer selling this. Their price on the website is $39K.
The average of the 5 price guides I use put this car, in its #3-4 condition at $11K.
They will never go that low, they probably over paid for it.
It would work for me, if the price was reasonably, but for a car like this in a year or two it will be a money pit of you want to drive it daily as I do. I also promised the boss the next car would have A/C...
Thanks again for the lead. James
Good afternoon James,
I understand your viewpoint completely but it appears to be better than a 3 - 4 car in my opinion. Air conditioning is going to be tough to find with a factory unit. However, aftermarket units are available and are probably even better today than the factory units were back then. They just wouldn't look the same.
Good luck in your search and I'll still keep my eyes open.
Fred
Update: Car got bid to $20,100.00 but was a no-sale because the reserve was not met.
