My husband and I bought a 1941 De Soto in 1990. It has been in the garage all this time. It needs a good home. It has a good body but it does not run. The interior needs to be completely restored. My husband bought lots of parts, including material for the interior, puttered with it, and kept meticulous records but never had the time to restore it.
I am looking for someone who wants a project.
Hi Nicki,
Can you tell us a little more about the car? I can tell it is a Custom by the taillights but is it a 2 door or a four door? Is it a 3 speed manual transmission or is the semi-automatic (Simplimatic) transmission? Lastly, what are you asking for the car? Any other pictures??
Also, I have been working on a database for the '41 DeSotos. I was wondering if I could get some information on the car from you so I can add it to the database. You can private message me here or email me at desotodean@gmail.com and perhaps we could exchange phone numbers and I can explain what I need. I will also pass the word around on the car.
Hopefully we can find a good home for her!
