So I got the car running, but I’m missing parts on my 2 barrel Carter carb on my 383. What I need is; 1. Fast idle lever (with screw) 2. Fast idle connector rod (with clips) 3. Fast idle screw.
Enclosed are photos of the carb so you can see what it’s missing, and a photo from the Manual that identifies the missing parts
See what you got and let me know ????
Thanks
Bernie

If you don't get a response here, try Hennie Jacobs from the NDC (reference club roster for contact info). I believe he has a '59 parts car with a 2 bbl. You can also try Murray Park (NDC member) or John Fowlie at Big M automotive.
Long-term, you may want to run a wanted ad in the club magazine for a spare carburetor. There are probably some people that have a spare one after converting to a 4 bbl.
@davidfrank Sounds good, thanks for the tip!

@davidfrank I have 2 BBD carbs ,both had been rebuilt and run on my 59 before I changed over to a 4 bbl. Iwill sell one or both.
@BernieMoen if you didn't locate any carb parts yet, it sounds like Ron has two complete ones.
Thanks guys, I found one on eBay which had the parts I needed so I'm all set ???? . Installing an electronic distributor on my week off, so it should be running even smoother ????
