I am looking for an ignition relay for a 56 DeSoto Firedome Seville.
Have been told it is part # 1658997 or Autolite RAJ 4001.
I am not sure of the difference in the part for later years which I have seen online but not for 1956.
Any help will be appreciated.

1949 De Soto Custom Convertible (project)
My experience with Collector's Auto Supply is that they are horribly expensive. Best bet is to search ebay or get one off a parts car.
My 55-58 parts book says that 1842546 will also work. That was used for 57-8 Desoto and Chrysler as well as 56 Desoto and Chrysler.
