Bill: The Desoto Report was a 8.5 x 11.5 6 page folder or an 8 page stapled booklet for Desoto Master Salesman. It was issued from 1956 into 1959 and maybe beyond
It was filed with articles of interest to Master Salesman including tips on selling Desotos from successful salesmen. During the course of sales contests, the leaders by zone and by group would be posted. Group A would be a dealership selling over 200 Desotos per year, B 100-200 and C under 100
The April 1959 issue has a little sidebar on the 2,000,00th Desoto-a Firedome 2 door hardtop made at 10:40 am March 12; also a quick announcement on the Seville Spring Special along with an article advising salesmen that commitments have been made on the 1960 and 1961 models; developments in progress for 1962 with the 1963s on the drawing board...
Obviously not that common but a valuable reference item
